On 7 September 2025, Action and Light proudly contributed its self-published works to public libraries with the aim of preserving local knowledge and making it accessible to the wider community.
At a handover ceremony, the Chairman of Action and Light, Dr. Sazzadul Bari, presented the books “Commodification and Marketization of Water: The Exploration of the Unheard Cries in the Barind Tracts of Bangladesh” and “Agricultural Museum of Barind Tract: Analysis of Knowledge Exchange Among Local Community and Shah Agricultural Museum and Library” to Morsheda Binte Mamun, Librarian of the Government District Public Library, Joypurhat.
This initiative reflects Action and Light’s commitment to knowledge sharing, cultural preservation, and supporting research opportunities. By making these resources available in public libraries, we aim to open doors for local readers, students, and researchers to engage with critical issues of water governance, agriculture, and heritage.
