By recording oral histories, spiritual lineages, ritual practices, and community memory, the publication recognizes Sufi traditions not merely as historical phenomena, but as living cultural expressions transmitted across generations.

Preserving Memory, Strengthening Identity

Intangible heritage is fragile. It survives through practice, remembrance, and transmission. In many rural communities of Northern Bangladesh, spiritual traditions continue to shape ethical values, social harmony, and collective identity.

Through this digital publication, Action and Light seeks to:

  • Safeguard community-based spiritual knowledge

  • Promote intergenerational transmission of cultural memory

  • Ensure open digital access to documented heritage

  • Encourage scholarly engagement with regional traditions

This work stands as both an academic documentation and an act of cultural responsibility — preserving not only history, but dignity, identity, and spiritual continuity for future generations.

The eBook is now freely accessible on our website for researchers, students, and heritage practitioners worldwide.
