Introduction On January 24, 2025, Action and Light organized a remarkable community initiative to establish traditional village community food banks, known as “Gnyati Gola,” under the project titled “Gnyati Gola: A Community Food Bank by Action and Light.” The initiative was launched at the premises of Food Bank of Suktahar and Food Bank Dhuatar in Jamalpur Union, Joypurhat Sadar Upazila. The project aims to strengthen food security and promote communal harmony through traditional practices of mutual aid and cooperation.
