The event `Dialogue For Interfaith Communal Harmony To Combat Extremism”,’ organized by the knowledge-based voluntary organization Action and Light, took place yesterday at the organization’s premises. The chief guest at the dialogue was Mr. Fazle Wahed, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Joypurhat Sadar. Dr. Parimal Sarker, the organization’s advisor, moderated the harmony dialogue, which was attended by various representatives from different religious and community groups, as well as representatives from various religious and ethnic groups . At the end of the dialogue, Dr. Sazzadul Bari, the Chairman of Action and Light offered participants to take a meal together which was presented by the village organizations of Action and Light. Participants shared a eco-friendly traditional meal together including curd, chira, Murki ,Khakrai and bananas on banana leaves with fostering unity among all.
