Action and Light Workshop Sparks ‘Collective Voice’: Empowering Local NGOs and Libraries Through Transformational Skills

In a significant stride toward local empowerment and skill development, the Public Library in Joypurhat became the epicenter for change today as the volunteer organization Action and Light orchestrated a groundbreaking workshop. The event, titled “Ignite Transformational Skill Development: Empowering Local Non-profit Volunteer Organizations and Libraries,” drew together a consortium of 25 local NGOs, spearheaded by development expert Dr. Parimal Sarkar.

Dr. Sarkar’s master session was a beacon of knowledge, guiding representatives from various local NGOs through transformative strategies aimed at bolstering their impact within their communities. With a focus on skill development, the workshop delved into methodologies that could revolutionize the approach of these organizations.

The event also witnessed the dynamic contributions of Al Imran, the Social Welfare Officer of Joypurhat Sadar, who shared invaluable insights during sessions. Additionally, Md. Rokonuzzaman, the Librarian of Joypurhat’s Public Library, facilitated engaging sessions, enriching attendees with practical wisdom.

A pivotal moment came at the workshop’s conclusion with the formation of a new communication platform named ‘Collective Voice.’ This platform is poised to become a catalyst for collaboration, uniting these NGOs under a common umbrella to amplify their impact and foster collective growth.

Leading the charge as the founder President of ‘Collective Voice’ is none other than Dr. Sazzadul Bari, the esteemed Chairman of Action and Light. His visionary leadership promises to propel this platform toward a future brimming with collaborative endeavors, furthering the cause of community development.

The resonating impact of this workshop is expected to reverberate across Joypurhat, heralding a new era of concerted efforts and enhanced capabilities within the realm of volunteerism and community service. As the ripple effects of this transformative event take hold, the seeds sown today are anticipated to bear fruit in the form of empowered, engaged, and stronger local NGOs, all working tirelessly for the betterment of their communities.
